Don't worry, couples get cold feet all the time; we'll head up to the church, get inside the gate, snap the picture and then 'Oh sorry Father, wedding's off after all!' It'll be that simple. This one... takes a little explanation. On the planet of Issverold, a few miles outside the capital, stands the ruin of an ancient church called the Fornkirk; on its floor is a star map leading to one of the most secret treasures in the galaxy. Getting a picture is a little harder than it would seem for Rian, since the act of going to the Fornkirk is always the prelude to a marriage, with no exceptions.

Pirossa concocted what on the surface was a simple scheme to hoodwink a clergyman with no legal harm done to their mutual singlehood... but what Rian didn't know (and Pirossa did) was that the marriage officially and legally begins when the couple steps through the gate of the church, and NOT after the priest pronounces them during the ceremony. I can't imagine what Pirossa thought being married to an irate tricked Rian would entail, but I'm certain it didn't involve Farael showing up at the last minute to save her from the ill-gotten bonds of matrimony and proceeding to whup Pirossa up and down those holy ruins.
