Onyx and Gold

Who likes drow? I like drow. I haven't drawn this guy in SO long, it's criminal, considering he was a major supporting character in Urban Arcana and a minor one in Astral Arcana. Anton Barrison del'Armgo is the founder and president of the Barrison del'Armgo Trading Company, the most profitable interstellar trade firm in the galaxy, making him the single wealthiest person in the Empire. He's also a notorious man-whore, having the (dubious) distinction of having canoodled with Trean AND Rian AND thousands of other women in his multiple-centuries-long lifespan.

One of his longest-standing consorts was this Martian lady, who accompanied him back to Earth from the first exploration of Mars in 2017. I knew I had to draw these two together eventually-- the black/gold skin contrast is just too good to pass up.

Also, this picture is notable because it's the first one I've finished in my new house! I have a great new setup for my tablet and it makes me quite a happy artist indeed.
