Angels. I like 'em a lot. And lots of people on here like 'em too. I decided to take an opportunity to explore the angel art posted here on dA, and found all sorts of permutations: original characters, art nouveau versions, abstractions, warrior angels, symbols of good or evil as the context dictates.

There's so much angel art on here it's hard to see it all, but I wanted to show some to the community at large in the hopes of gaining a greater audience for the lovely work being done, and maybe inspire people to do some more of their own (because everyone needs more winged people in their lives!). I tried to include many examples of different styles and skill levels, but one girl can only do so much.

As such, this is by no means intended to be a complete or comprehensive compendium of the angel art that exists on dA, but merely a jumping-off point. After all, according to lore, angels are supposed to be messengers and inspirers; hopefully you all can find something that inspires and moves YOU.
