That's right. June 24th marks the end of my SEVENTH YEAR ON DEVIANTART. My GOD, I feel old. But really, that just means I've been posting here for ages.
Thank you all so much for making my most recent year the BEST YEAR EVER; I finally started doing commissions, making friends, actually having fun with the community, and my first-ever DD. Best. Year. Ever. Thank you so, so much. 
So, to kick off the start of my EIGHTH year, and at the suggestion of
, I'm holding my FIRST CONTEST EVER. Keep reading for details, info and dates.
Masked Arcana Contest!
What is the contest about?COSTUMES. Even though the banner just has the little half-masks, this theme can encompass FAR more than that. Full-body costumes, masks, scary, sexy, beautiful, funny, whatever you come up with. If it's my characters in any kind of costume, it's fair game for this contest.
Submission dates: June 24-August 24Submissions can start NOW! And it'll remain open until August 24th. I realize this is kind of a short span of time, but this is only a little contest. It's kind of practice for a bigger one I'm planning.
How to SubmitMention the contest in your artist's comment, then send me a note or comment with your contest entry's link. I'd appreciate it if you'd also add it to the "Masked Arcana Contest" folder at Astral-Arcana, since you don't need to be a member to add to that folder. (But if you forget, no big deal, I can add it myself.
)Rules and Guidelines
-Please read to make sure your entry is acceptable BEFORE you submit!-
Any of the characters from the temiel.deviantart.com/gallery/… (Astral Arcana Illustrations), temiel.deviantart.com/favourit… (Arthulin's Astral Arcana Art), and temiel.deviantart.com/gallery/… (Urban Arcana Illustrations) galleries are eligible for use in a contest entry. Some of them have character information sheets here fav.me/d2aoj2t and here temiel.deviantart.com/gallery/… , but not all of them, so if you want to do a character that shows up in illustrations but not on a character sheet, GO FOR IT. Only NEW visual art, posted to dA between the contest start and end, is allowed for this contest. More than one entry per person is allowed. If you submit an entry and then delete the picture, it's permanently removed from the running, even if you re-post it. This will save me a few headaches. Spiciness is acceptable, but please keep it inside dA rules. Your judge is meeeeee! Obviously neither Arthulin nor I can enter. SO WHAT'S THE PRIZES, MISS TEM?That's a VERY good question!
The Prizes
As I mentioned before in passing, this is a VERY small contest with a pretty short deadline. I imagine there'll be limited interest since it's not, like... a huge group-sponsored thing. But still, some really wonderful dA friends have chosen to donate prizes. A TREMENDOUS thank you to you guys for padding out my prize list!
