I wonder who thought up that rule about women not being allowed at meetings of the ABC Society?! (Being the psycho fangirl I am, I choose not to think it was Enjolras!) In any case, the situation reminded me of one of those little clubs you start when you're a kid, with the tree-house and the signs up that say, like, "No Boys/Girls Allowed- THAT MEANS YOU!" and "TRESPASS AND DIE!!!!" In this chaaaarming li'l piccy, Em's standing at the bottom razzing the Barricade Boys in the treehouse, as they pull up the little rope ladder. The boys are as follows: Courfeyrac (next to the Tricouleur), Bahorel (razzing Em back), Prouvaire (in the branch), Joly and Bossuet (on the ladder; Joly's the apanoidone and Bossuet is the bald one), Marius (bottom of ladder), Enjolras (the obvious; with one foot on a soapbox), Combeferre (seated, reading), Feuilly (with fan), and Grantaire (passed out drunk).
I love the description haha... This is so precious...man I remember when you first drew it...I was so excited to see what it would look like when it was finished. The barricade boys are like...THE CUTEST THINGS IN THE WORLD...besides French cats and stuff. lol
Thank you! I'm so glad you like it. Nobody else seems to get as much of a kick out of it as I and my friend * DrearyThoughts do. So the liking is muchly appreciated!
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
