Empyrean Heights

I've been thinking for a while that Farael needs an Official Portrait. He is, after all, a very important high-ranking officer AND illustrious personage, and if that doesn't deserve a portrait I don't know what does.

So here we are: Commodore Farael Zachariah Imreth Bartimaeus, all decorated and gorgeous and navytastic. This one owes a lot to this picture of young Lord Nelson [link] , which I used as reference for lighting and pose (and also concept too, I guess). I tried out a more painterly style here, but there's still a line drawing.
