Description
Done for the #ATC-Exchange's May exchange. This was done from a request by , whose requests are almost always the most challenging in the whole group since he NEVER goes the easy route of asking for OCs. For the month with the Valentine's theme, he requested a tiger dating a gazelle; for the steampunk month, he asked for "steampunk Robocop". This month, the theme is Art Nouveau, and his two requests were 1) a woman in the style of Mucha but she's ugly and deformed instead of beautiful, or 2) Nosferatu from the old silent movie with Max Schreck, in the style of Aubrey Beardsley.
This, I could do. I was SO glad I got him this month, since this is quite possibly the first and only time I actually had an immediate image in my head of how one of his requests would look and how I'd do it. Still, I worked my ass off on this sucker, putting all that detail on a 2.5"x3.5" card is... always fun, but always a hand-cramp in the making. I did a VERY minor level tweak to make the black really black in the scan, but everything in the digital image looks the same as in RL otherwise.
I really hope you like it, ~McThrill. I LOVE Beardsley, and Nosferatu was such a perfect subject for his style.

Oh my God, it does look like Beardsley! I adore his work and I think you did an amazing job. I love it
